Words on the Waves proudly presents Ebb & Flow – our now annual poetry slam, where verses take flight from the page and hit the stage.
Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring homegrown slam poet champion Andrew Cox, who now heads up the Canberra Poetry Slam. Hosted by local spoken word artist and three-times Australian Poetry Slam finalist Will Small, expect high energy, electric performances showcasing the spectrum of human experiences and the raw vulnerability of stories brought to the mic.
Local artist Grant Molony will be creating LIVE ART over the event, alongside DJ tunes and good vibes.
Want to enter the slam? Sign-up 30 minutes before the event for a 3 minute slot to impress the audience with your piece, and see if you’ll be crowned the champ of the first ever ‘Ebb & Flow’. In true slam style, winners will be judged by the audience.
